Neo-Christians Put Israel First But Other Christians Last

25May

Jeffress_Robert-04.jpgNeo-Christian Pastors like Robert Jeffress of the First Baptist Church of Dallas and John Hagee of Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, TX were bookends for the inaugural celebration of the US Embassy in Jerusalem. Jeffress offered up the prayer of dedication and Hagee the benediction. Israeli newspaper Haaretz described Jeffress & Hagee as part of the “axis of fundamentalist, messianic End-Times-adoring elements that increasingly dominate ties between the two countries [Israel & US].” In this 25 minute podcast, Chuck Carlson and members of We Hold These Truths delve into the phenomena of "Neo-Christianity," often referred to as "Christian Zionism," that puts Israel's interests ahead of their Palestinian brothers and sister in Christ.
