Before you dive into the complete and fascinating study of the book of Acts by Mark Horton, listen to the two reviews of the book:  Acts - Review 1 (Part 59) and this one to get a flavor of the insight you will gain from an in-depth study.

We look at the rise of the Messianic Judaism movement [for example, New Apostolic Restoration (NAR) and  Fellowhip of Israel Related Ministries (FIRM)] that is supplanting the in your face, brash, Christian Zionism exemplified by the likes of John Hagee, Pat Robertson, and others.  A Jewish person who becomes a Christian is known as a Messianic Christian practicing Messianic Judaism.   Messianic congregations consist mostly of non-Jewish believers shepherded by a Messianic Christian preacher and acting out Judaism.  One of the key tenants of Messianic Judaism is the belief that the modern state of Israel is the fulfillment of Biblical prophecy.  In this podcast you will find out if Messianic Judaism is more focused on Judaism than on the Messiah.  For more background on Meessianic Judaism, listen to "The Judaizing Elements of the Messianic Movement" by Cesar Ahron, a Jewish convert to Christianity, who offers a constructive critique on the Messianic movement.

William Norman Grigg of Pro Libertate notes, "We have reached a point in our nation's descent into psychotic tribalist fear where people of stature and apparent sobriety unabashedly use the expression “final solution” when discussing the existence of Muslims.  For ISIS “and those similarly motivated,” insists retired Marine Lt. Col. James G. Zumwalt in an essay published by Family Security Matters, “a rational world should recognize but one `final solution' exists – their extinction.”  Will Grigg's analysis of the attack on Muslims in the US is eye opening and should be heard by all people of good will.

Some people insist there is apartheid in Israel while others vehemently deny the charge.  You be the judge in this hard hitting and humorous look at the issue in just two minutes. South African Bishop Desmond Tutu claims that in Israel, it's not like the apartheid in South Africa, but much worse...apartheid on steroids.

Church warmakers swap Islamaphobia for Jesus' love of mankind at Zionist churches' rallies for Israel.  One of the major Christian Zionist supporters of Israel and host of Israel "Love In" events in the United States, is John Hagee and Christians United For Israel.  We discuss another church in Colorado that is conducting its own "Let's Worship Israel No Matter What It Does" event.  The net results of these events creates fear of Muslims and an acceptance by Christians to wars upon Muslim countries by the US.

Another fascinating study by Mark Horton as we near the end of our study in Acts.  We learn that Paul's appearance in Rome before the Judean leaders there, to preach the gospel of the kingdom, was far more important than his trial before Nero's court.

Evolutionists claim that languages evolved from a common language.  The most prominent linguist of the 20th Century, Noam Chomsky says that language could not have evolved because of a phenomenon known as irreducible complexity.  In this fascinating presentation by Ron Moe, a lexicographer and linguistic consultant, the biblical story of the Tower of Babel and the formation of languages is revisited with some very interesting insights and conclusions.  Ron Moe's most significant accomplishment during his career is the development of a revolutionary word collection method that dramatically shortens the time to create dictionaries for spoken-only languages.  

This two minute video, produced by Corn For Food Not Fuel, explains how our nation's policy of burning corn in our gas tanks is causing an increase in the price of meat and poultry at the grocery store. Mark Horton discusses in depth, Paul's views of the resurrection during his trials.

It's no secret that Americans, including millions of American Christians, have been conditioned to fear and hate Muslims ever since communism fell in the early 1990s.  This makes it a lot easier for them to justify and accept America's serial wars against Muslim countries like Iraq, Somalia, Afghanistan, Libya and Syria.  In this revealing program, Chuck Carlson reports on a Pakistani pastor he heard preach in a mainline Christian church who has a new wrinkle to instill mistrust and fear against Muslims.  The organization this Pakistani represented is Voice of the Martyrs, that profited from the slave redemption scheme in Sudan. Americans may be the freest people on the planet, but they are one of the most conditioned.  In this fascinating, 14 minute documentary, the effects of Edward Bernays' life work are explored.  Bernays was the nephew of Sigmund Freud and the founder of modern public relations (a euphemism for propaganda).  Some of his many "accomplishments" included: 1. Selling Americans on fighting in World War I in 1917; 2. Getting women to smoke; 3. Conducting a propaganda war against a democratically elected leader in Guatemala; 4. Persuading Americans to accept the addition of a toxic waste, bi-product, sodium fluoride to their water supplies; 5. In this podcast we discuss and update a ground breaking story written by Chuck Carlson in 1998:  "Missionaries, Mercenaries, Missiles and Money: The Untold Story of the War on the Children of Sudan."   Back then, President Bill Clinton bombed a pharmaceutical plant in Sudan for his installment of the "war on terror." No precursors for weapons of mass destruction" were ever found in Sudan, just as no WMDs were found in Iraq after 911.  Christian organizations and churches raised large sums of donations to "free" the "slaves" in Sudan, and, Muslims were further demonized.  And,now, there's ISIL. This is quite a story!

Chuck Carlson notes that US intelligence claims to know when a single Russian truck crosses the border into Ukraine, and the make and model of the truck.  Why does it not tell us who pays the ISIL (Islamic State In Levant, aka ISIS - Islamic State in Syria or IS - Islamic State) army and who manufactures its trucks, guns and tanks". Could the blackout on such vital information be intentional?   

Pastor John Hagee of Christians United For Israel recently wrote a book, Four Blood Moons: Something Is About To Change, that is a New York Times bestseller.  It seems Hagee is trying to speed up the return of Jesus using a predictable astronomical event as a sign of the end times.  Our friend Pastor William Bell (Eschatology: All Things Fulfilled) has studied Hagee's scriptural claims in his book and replies in this podcast with logical and well reasoned, scriptural challenges.

Pastor George Morrison of Faith Bible Chapel says that they have been honoring Israel for over 35 years.  Once again, Chuck Carlson and his team conducted a vigil in front of Faith Bible Chapel in Arvada, CO during the Christians United For Israel's "Night To Honor Israel" event featuring John Hagee.  WHTT's "inside man," Craig Hanson, reports that Jesus, definitely, played second fiddle at this event.  Don't miss Craig's insightful analysis of the program and Chuck's details on the outside activities.

Just when you thought it was safe to get into the water, John Hagee of Christians United For Israel has declared, on the Hagee Hotline program, that President Obama is not sufficiently kind to Israel.  It seems the President wants to keep the "true " capital of Israel, Jerusalem, divided between Palestinians and Jews rather then uniting it under Israel.  Hagee contends that this will result in a judgment by God against the United States in the form of the Ebola outbreak.  This is one and half minute segment extracted from the Hagee Hotline program, hosted by Mathew Hagee (son of John Hagee), left us amazed. Imagine that!] but you will have to sign by giving your name and email address (but, hey, it's free and one of the best entertainment values around!).

Sometimes, you have to step back to get the whole, big picture, of America's latest enemies.  Over the decades, the US has developed many innovative ways to create new enemies.  This Australian documentary, Iraq's Missing Billions (2006), demonstrates this during the US administered, initial rebuilding of Iraq's damaged infrastructure after the 2003 Gulf War.  The squandering of the Iraqis' own money by the US, shown in this documentary, is disgusting, but informative.  For some more relevant background to the ISIL/ISIS/IS phenomena, read John Pilger historical context article, "From Pol Pot to ISIS." Then, if you haven't seen John Pilger's documentary The War You Don't See, watch it to learn how Americans are conditioned to accept the United States' serial wars.  Finally, Mike Whitney's article,"America's 'Terrorist Academy' in Iraq Produced ISIS Leaders," sheds some new light on ISIL.

The US government justified the 2003 Gulf War against Iraq by telling Americans that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction and that Al-Qaedi operated there.  Neither were true.  The US and its Middle East allies have supplied weapons and training to the rebels fighting to overthrow Assad's government in Syria.  Now, there is ISIL (Islamic State in the Levant, or ISIS  or IS) fighting and causing mayhem in Iraq and Syria.  In this podcast Chuck Carlson analyzes what is going on over there with the start of what appears to be another US serial war.

John Hagee's Christians United For Israel will take its "We Love Israel No Matter How Many Palestinians They Kill," traveling road show, "Standing With Israel" event to a synagogue in San Francisco.  Normally, CUFI events are held at Christian Zionist churches.  We discuss this event and the recent protest in the Bay Area where over 3000 longshoremen protested against an Israeli ship unloading its cargo in Oakland.  Shouldn't Christians have as much compassion for the over 500 Palestinian children killed in Gaza during Israel's "Operation Protective Edge," as longshoremen do?

The trial of Paul continues in Caesarea with King Agrippa examining him for Roman governor, Festus. 

This Israeli tee shirt appeared after "Operation Cast Lead" in 2009 where over 300 Palestinian children were killed in Gaza.  We don't know what the Hebrew says, but the message reflects "A Society of Death" mentality in Israel that is explored in this podcast.  Israel's latest installment of collective punishment, "Operation Protective Edge" has resulted in over 500 children killed, a total of over 2000 killed, over 10,000 injured, over 100,000 homeless and massive damage to Gaza's infrastructure.  Also, In this podcast, Chuck Carlson looks at the planned genocide against Gaza advocated by leading Israeli politicians and the ineffective Hamas rockets that Israel uses to justify its punitive actions.

The physical state of Israel was spiritually dead during Paul's ministry.

Paul appealed his case to Caesar Augustus.  The Roman governor, Festus determined that Paul had committed nothing worthy of death. King Agrippa tries Paul in order to come up with a charge that Paul can be used against him in Rome.  Mark Horton has some interesting insights into one of the charges made concerning the resurrection.  Paul asks King Agrippa, "Why should it be thought by you that God raises the dead?"

No matter how much the Zionist state of Israel's propaganda machine, our cowardly US president, Congress and main stream media try to cover up its brutal and punitive attack on Gaza, more and more people are finding out the truth that Israel's actions are barbaric. This video was taken from a rally held in Texas to support Palestinians and oppose Israel's genocidal actions in "Operation Protective Edge." Chuck Carlson of We Hold These Truths has described Israeli's "Operation Protective Edge" in Gaza as genocide against the Palestinians.  As of 8/4/2014, "the Palestinian death toll surpassed 1,800 [Palestinians], 80% of whom are civilians according to UN estimates. About 460,000 people in Gaza have been displaced since the start of the conflict. Three civilians in Israel have been killed." (theguardian.com)  This is an interview with Chuck Carlson on Dr. Kevin Barrett's 7/31/2014 "Truth Jihad Radio" show. On the same day Christians United For Israel is telling their supporters to "tell Kerry that Israel - NOT Hamas - is our ally!" while blaming Hamas for the deaths of civilians.

Christians who require Israel to be the focal point of their religion rather than focusing on Jesus and what he taught, are blinded to what Israel is doing to the Palestinians.  This podcast discusses a very interesting encounter with a Christian Zionist by Tom Compton of We Hold These Truths.  The very enlightening "An Open Letter to Evangelicals and Other Interested Parties:  The People of God, the Land of Israel and the Impartiality of the Gospel" that theologically challenges the notion that a physical Israel is needed for the return of Jesus is discussed in the program.  Even if you're not a Christian, this podcast will help you understand what makes Christian Zionists so adamant and dogmatic about their religious beliefs.

Many Grandmothers in America aren't aware of the collective punishment being unmercifully committed against the Palestinians in Gaza during Israel's latest planned assault, "Operation Protective Edge."  An estimated 75% of the casualties are civilians, with a large percentage being women and children. We try to answer a grandma who didn't think about the innocent children being killed when she parroted a question she learned from our media, "What about all the rockets Hamas launches? Doesn't Israel have a right to protect itself?"  It seems most Americans have lost the capacity to ask questions to challenge what they are being spoon fed by the US government, the main stream media and the Zionist lobby. It turns out that Chuck Carlson learned some "Top Secret" information from a missionary to Russia at a recent high school reunion he attended in South Dakota.  And, as a public service, we are passing it along to you.
