Rallies all over the United States and around the world are taking place to object to the announcement by President Donald Trump that the US embassy in Israel would be moved to Jerusalem. The Palestinians and the international community have considered East Jerusalem to be the capital of Palestine. The move by Trump, should be of no surprise to any sincere observer because the United States has never been an honest peace broker to the Israel/Palestine conflict. Members of We Hold These Truths joined with over 100 Palestinian supporters in Tempe, Arizona to protest the action by President Trump. This is video is a two minute overview of the rally.

Christian Theologian Exposes Enigmatic Doctrine of Christian Zionism

More Christian theologians are waking up to the false promises of Christian Zionist theology. Dr. Rob Dalrymple, in his book, "These Brothers of Mine: A Theology of Land & Family & A Response to Christian Zionism," does an excellent job to biblically challenge the theology of Christian Zionism. We gave a copy of Dr. Dalrymple's book to the president of western seminary. Here's what he had to say: "I had the time to read These Brothers of Mine over the weekend and found it a wonderful book. I so appreciated the spirit in which Rob wrote the book. I cannot say that there was anything in the book that I would not embrace! I am passing this book on to another one of our professors to get his take on it, but I believe this is an area of teaching we need to be addressing in the church." Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies Vs The International Bankers Who Finance Wars

What's going on with the rise of interest in, and the increase in value of, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies? This recent, 26 minute documentary by PressTV does a great job of explaining what crptocureencies, like Bitcoin, are, and the push back by the banking estabishment against them. In his recent article, "Millenials Mistrust Financial Institutions; Invented Bitcoin" Chuck Carlson of We Hold These Truths noted that: "The reason we have not heard our own mega-government hold forth with a lethal threat to Bitcoin and the others, is that mega-gov has not figured out what it can say that will not increase interest.  If any big government knew a way to monitor or control Cryptocurrencies, I am inclined to think we would have heard about it long before now, and you can bet your socks they are trying. Governments are and will be desperate to control the Cryptocurrencies’ phenomena; they have no choice.  This absence of threat from them is positive for Bitcoin investors."

Rich Siegel is a very talented pianist and singer who journeyed from being an ardent Zionist, who even lived in Israel. Rich delved into the Zionist beliefs he held so dear and found that the "facts" he had learned were wanting. Iktashef: Holy Land Trust Experience in Palestine

In the US, the Israeli side of the Israel/Palestine conflict is the predomnant narrative presented by our main stream media and government. After all, the US government gives Israel over $10 million every day. Besides, we Americans have been educated that the Palestinians are terrorists and that they launch rockets against Israel and don't want peace. We Hold These Truths' Arizona Outreach Director, Tom Compton, spent a month in Palestine and Israel, based in Bethlehem, to find out more about what's really happening there. The Holy Land Trust, offered a unique, on the ground experience called Iktashef (Arabic for "discover"), that presented voices from both sides of the conflict. Voices in Palestine Crying Out for Peace & Justice: Qavi

Mohammad Abdul Qavi was an activist for peace and justice for Palestinians. We met Qavi at the El Beit Guest House in Beit Sahour, the city next to Bethlehem, Palestine, where a group of us on the month long, Iktashef experience, sponsored by the Holy Land Trust, were staying. Qavi, who was from London, had chosen the El Beit Guest House as his retirement home and had been living there for over 6 years. This interview with this remarkable and compassionate man, who practiced only non-violent resistance, was conducted on August 14, 2017, less than two weeks before his passing on August 27, 2017. On a month-long trip to Palestine and Israel, I was very fortunate to meet Dr. Mazin Qumsiyeh, a Palestinian, who came back to Bethlehem from a career in the US at Yale and Duke Universities, teaching and researching in the field of genetics. He now teaches and does research at Bethlehem and Bir Zeit Universities in Palestine. He is the director of the Palestine Museum of Natural History and the Institute for Biodiversity Research. Exposing AIPAC & John Hagee's CUFI As Unregistered Agents For Israel

At Arizona Mosque Christ Follower Explains Christian Zionism

We Hold These Truths representatives have been invited to speak at numerous mosques about our Christian ministry that challenges Christian Zionism, a form of Neo-Christianity that is less than 150 years old. Christian Zionists hold fast to the belief that the modern state of Israel is a fulfillment of biblical prophecy. In 2012, Tom Compton of We Hold These Truths was invited to make a presentation at the Al-Mahdi Islamic Center in Tempe, Arizona for their International Day of Al Quds (Jerusalem) program. An audio recording was made of the PowerPoint presentation. WHTT Asks Southern Baptist Convention Messengers To Choose Life Not War

Members of the vigil team from We Hold These Truths greeted messengers to the 2017 annual meeting of the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC), held in Phoenix, Arizona. The vigilers were armed only with signs like "Choose Life, Not War," "Blessed Are The Peacemakers," "Where Are The Peacemakers?" and "No More Wars For Israel," and two fliers: "Choose Life Not War" and "Does The Bible Require Followers of Jesus to Support the Jewish State of Israel?" After over 200 vigils around the country, in terms of people engaged and fliers distributed, this vigil turned out to be one of our most effective ones, since we started them in Nov. 2002 at the First Southern Baptist Church of Scottsdale [AZ]. Is the God of Today's Judaism the Same as the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob?

Many Christians, especially Christian Zionists, believe that the religion of Judaism today is the same as was the religion of the Israelites of the Old Testament, except there are no animal sacrifices now. In the book, Christian scholar Michael Hoffman documents his provocative thesis that Judaism is not the religion of the Old Testament, but the newly formalized belief system of the Pharisees, which arose in Babylon with the commitment of the formally, oral traditions of the elders to writing, in the wake of the crucifixion of Israels Messiah and the destruction of the Temple. Basing his findings on authoritative Judaic sources, Hoffman demonstrates that Judaism is a man-made religion of tradition and superstition, which represents the institutionalized nullification of Biblical law and doctrine. Liberating the reader from the accumulated shackles of decades of misinformation, this book that shows that Judaism's god is not the God of Israel, but the strange gods of Talmud and Kabbalah, and the racial self-worship they inculcate. Challenging A War Willing Church

Why is it that the teachings of Jesus, like "Love your neighbor as you love yourself" and "Blessed Are the Peacemakers," take a back seat to millions of Christians that are influenced by the religious dogma known as Christian Zionism? One of our first vigils was held in front of this church in November of 2002, four months before the second war on Iraq started. John Hagee Alledges A Copyright Claim On His Prayer For War-Update

In 2012, shortly after posting our video "John Hagee with Benny Hinn:  Praying For War In The Name of Jesus" (you can still watch the video on our site), John Hagee Ministries (JHM) forced YouTube (part of Google) to remove it, claiming they had the copyright on the prayer, offered by Hagee at the end of the program, This Is Your Day, hosted by Benny Hinn. that was used in our video.  How does a prayer offered to God in public, and aired on commercial TV, have a claim to a copyright? The copyright on the whole program actually belongs to Benny Hinn Ministries from the 2003 show where the Un-Christlike prayer was uttered.  We're grateful that we caused some feather ruffling in the radical Christian Zionist camp after getting over 25,000 views on YouTube in less than a month.   In this podcast we also talk about another potentially dangerous phenomena, coming in on the radar screen, known as Messianic Christianity, where God is being promoted as a racist.  The Messianic movement is converting Christians into followers of Judaism. Worldwide Reaction To Palestinian Hunger Strike

Israel's prime enabler, the United States government and its complicit, main stream media have virtually ignored the hunger strike being conducted by Palestinian prisoners. Many of these prisoners languish in Israeli prison under an Israeli policy known as administrative detention, where prisoners, who have not been charged with a crime, can be held for years. Elsewhere around the world. others have shown support for the Palestinian prisoners on a hunger strike. Once Again US Proves It Is Israel's Number One Enabler

The US Ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, explained at the 2017 AIPAC convention how she led the charge to cover Israel's apartheid tracks as documented by the UN's report,  "Israeli Practices Toward the Palestinian People and the Question of Apartheid," This report clearly exposed Israel as an apartheid state. And, most of the world already knows this. Armed with no arguments against the carefully researched and documented report, Haley resorted to attacking one of the report's authors, Richard Falk, a respected international law and international relations scholar who taught at Princeton University for 40 years. Richard Falk also happens to be Jewish. An ad hominem attack like this on a Zionist Jew would have been met with cries of antisemitism and calls for a resignation. Israel continually gets away with its brutal, military occupation of Palestine, often by getting the US to intercede for them. A recent event demonstrates this. The release of a 74 page UN report, "Israeli Practices Toward the Palestinian People and the Question of Apartheid" concludes that Israel is guilty of policies that constitute apartheid and, therefore, crimes against humanity. Most of the world understands this. US Ambassor Nikki Haley quickly condemned the report and the UN was forced to remove it, two days after it was released. In this fascinating report, Craig Hanson looks under the covers as to what is going on. In his analysis, Craig references an article by Richard Falk, "Richard Falk: Anger at my Israel 'apartheid' report puts free speech at risk," one of the authors of the well researched report. Curiously, Israel makes no mention that Richard Falk is Jewish. Falk is an international law and international relations scholar who taught at Princeton University for 40 years. In 2008 he was also appointed by the UN to serve a six-year term as the Special Rapporteur on Palestinian human rights. Visiting Palestine and the Holy Land as Pilgrim Not Tourist

Isai Garcia, a seminary student at Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary gives a remarkable account of his recent,  eyeopening pilgramage to Palestine and the Holy Land. Sadly, the majority of American Christian who go to Israel, just go as tourists looking at Biblical sites. And, most often, they come away with no idea about the obstacles their Palestinian Christian brothers and sisters in Christ face in a country of military occupation that is rife with discrimination, even towards the arab citizens of Israel. US Continues Extra-Judicial Killing Policy Targets 8 Year Old American Citizen in Yemen

 President Donald Trump has carried on with what President Bush started and President Obama expanded: Extra-Judicial Executions that include American citizens. In the first such action by President Trump, a Navy Seal incursion team in Yemen killed 8 year old, American citizen. Nawar Al-Awlaki in a raid against "terrorists." In a cruel twist of irony, Nawar's older brother, Abdulrahman, was killed in a 2011 drone attack authorized by President Obama just two weeks after his father, Anwar Al-Awlaki, was killed by a drone attack. Palestinian Memories-The Story of a Palestinian Mother and Her People

In this video presentation, our Palestinian friend, Rev. Alex Awad, tells the remarkable and inspiring story of his mother, Huda Awad, who was left as a widow with seven children in 1948, during the Zionist takeover of Palestine. Alex gives a unique look at the Israeli/Palestine conflict as a Palestinian Christian. This presentation is based on his fascinating book, "Palestinian Memories: The Story of a Palestinian Mother and Her People." Alex's older brother, Bishara, founded the evangelical Christian college, Bethlehem Bible College in 1979. Christian Zionism is a war based, political religion wrapped around the notion that the modern state of Israel is a fulfillment of Biblical prophecy. It is a form of dispensational Christian theology (less than 200 years old) where war figures into its end times theology. This excellent and balanced news report from Australia exposes the war based religion that is known as Christian Zionism. Even though this program was originally aired in 2007, it is still accurate and applicable now. The reporter from the Australian Broadcasting Company interviews Christian Zionist. mega church, Pastor John Hagee who founded the pro-Israel lobby, Christians United For Israel (CUFI), the Christian Zionist version of AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee). A Jewish rabbi in Hagee's home town of San Antonio, TX, that is interviewed expresses that Hagee's agenda is detrimental to Jews in America and to Israel. Also interviewed is the Palestinian Ambassor. who is a Christian, and who says that Hagee's brand of Christianity is an embarassment to Palestinian Christians. (17 mins.)

Keep Bethlehem Open And Help Palestinian Christians Stay

Victories for the struggle for peace and justice for Palestinians come slowly, but are coming more frequently. We discuss the inspiring documentary Open, Bethlehem by Palestinian filmmaker, Leila Sansour. and her Bethlehem passport project designed to put wings to her film. We also talk about a recent, major victory in Boulder, Colorado where a resolution to make the Palestinian city of Nablus a sister city to Boulder was passed by the city council over strong opposition from vocal, local Zionists. The Israeli built separation wall snakes its way around Bethlehem, even cutting off Palestinians from their own land and nearby Jerusalem. This story is courageously told by Palestinian filmmaker, Leila Sansour in her Open, Bethlehem documentary that is part of a campaign to educate her fellow Christians and the world about the stranglehold by Israel that is slowly causing Palestinian Christians to leave the Holy Land because of the hardships imposed by the military occupation. To increase the awareness of what is happening to Bethlehem, a Bethlehem Passport is being issued by the OPEN BETHLEHEM campaign in partnership with the Governorate of Bethlehem.  So far, the passport has been granted to more than 500 people around the world, including church leaders and heads of states, such as Archbishop Rowan Williams, Pope Benedict XVI, Archbishop Desmond Tutu and President Jimmy Carter. The passport states: “In that the bearer of this passport is a citizen of Bethlehem; that they recognize this ancient city provides a light to the world, and to all people who uphold the values of a just and open society; that they will remain a true friend to Bethlehem through its imprisonment, and that they will strive to keep the ideals of Bethlehem alive as long as the wall stands; we ask you to respect the bearer of the passport and to let them pass freely.” Showings of Open, Bethlehem are starting in the United States after a successful introduction in the UK. ELCA Lutherans Palestinian Peace Not Walls Campaign-Major Breakthrough

The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) approved a resolution calling on the U.S. government to end all aid to Israel if Israel does not stop building settlements and “enable an independent Palestinian state." Voting at its triennial assembly in New Orleans that ended recently, the church also sought a halt to all investment in companies that profit from Israel’s occupation and called on the president of the United States to recognize the State of Palestine. The ELCA has joined several other mainline Christian denominations in calling for a just and peaceful resolution to the Israel/Palestine conflict.
