Challenging American Christians at Christ At The Checkpoint-USA

Sadly, American, evangelical Christians mostly get one side of the Israeli/Palestine conflict narrative. And, that is the "zionised" Christian version that claims that modern Israel is the fulfillment of biblical prophecy, and, that only modern Jews have a right to live in Israel. Christ At The Checkpoint-USA held their first conference in the US in Oklahoma City to tell the Palestinian Christian side of the story. Palestinian Christians are the "living stones," of the Holy Land, and, for the most part, are ignored by American Christian pilgrims visiting the "dead stone" sites in the Holy Land. We Hold These Truths had a booth at the conference and came away very encouraged by the gathering. The Southern Baptists Love Affair with Modern Israel

The Southern Baptist Convention's leadership loves to defend Israel, using mostly political arguments or corrupted biblical theology. Since our first vigil in Nov. 2002, We Hold These Truths has been challenging Southern Baptists and their leaders. Our team in Fresno challenged the California Southern Baptist Convention at their state headquarters in Fresno with some interesting results, both encouraging and and troubling. He was born in a Gaza refugee camp because his parents and grandparents, and over 750,000 Palestinians, were forced off their land in Palestine, by the Zionists in 1948, when Israel was founded. Why American evangelicals are a huge base of support for Israel

According to a poll conducted by the Pew Research Center, 82 percent of white evangelicals think God gave Israel to the Jewish people. Less than half as many Jewish Americans or Catholic Americans agree." A Public Banking Revolution Is Headed to Los Angeles

Challenging the international bankers and the corrupt mega-banks is no small task. Phoenix Goodman, co-founder of the PublicBankLA movement, discusses with Chuck Carlson and members of We Hold These Truths, his group's intriguing efforts to get the City of Los Angeles to start a public bank. Los Angeles manages more than five billion dollars in annual revenue collected from tax, fee and fine payers. The city paid over $109 million in transactional and origination fees to commercial banks in 2016. In an era of consolidation, where banks have grown too-big-to-fail, any discerning city will soon run out of options of where to put its money. The PublicBankLA campaign has convinced the Los Angels City Council to put an iniative for starting a city, public bank on the ballot for voter approval. Christians Challenging Christians In Fresno

Since 2002, We Hold These Truths has conducted over 200 vigils at "zionized" churches around the US. A group in Fresno has taken the WHTT message to Clovis Hills Community Church (CHCC) near Fresno, CA. In this 12 minute podcast, David Jacobs and his crew reveal the success of their vigil. CHCC is a Southern Baptist Convention church, but doesn't advertise it as such. Franklin Graham Goes to Bat for Israel

Millions of "zionized" Christians have been jumping for joy with the moving of the US Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem. Among them is Franklin Graham, son of deceased evangelist, Billy Graham. Evidence that Franklin Graham is a genuine, "zionized" Christian should be obvious to the intuitively obvious to the casual observer in these two articles: "Franklin Graham links return of Christ to opening of US embassy in Jerusalem," "Franklin Graham Speaks at Israeli Embassy." Franklin Graham has conducted a "Decision America" California. Friends of We Hold These Truths, in Fresno, CA conducted a vigil at the event with remarkable results. In this 15 minute zinger of a program we learn from Kitty Jacobs that the Graham tour has been meeting with opppostion at other stops. One of Kitty's signs asks the question, "Is Jesus or the State of Israel the Fulfillment of Prophecy. Choose!"

Controversy Around The Dead Sea Scrolls

The Denver Museum of Nature & Science has hosted a "Dead Sea Scrolls" exhibit, presented by the Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA). Chuck Carlson of We Hold These Truths visited the exhibit and discovered a subtle controversy that is analyzed in this 33 minute podcast with Craig Hanson and Palestinian Pastor Jamal Bishara. Craig Hanson takes a Biblical look into the idea that Jesus, not the modern state of Israel, is the Vine, as referred to in the New Testament. The Denver Post noted another controversy in an article, "'Dead Sea Scrolls' exhibit in Denver illuminates the mysterious origins of major world religions," - "In December, the IAA canceled a major Dead Sea Scrolls exhibition at a museum in Frankfurt after German authorities refused to guarantee their return if the scrolls were claimed by Palestinians or Jordanians. Palestinian activists have argued that the scrolls do not belong to Israel because they were first found during the 1940s in caves in the West Bank." This is a very unique program, as Pastor Jamal joined our podcast while attending the Southern Baptist Convention's annual meeting held this year in Dallas. Pastor Jamal and other Southern Baptists are working to keep politics out of the SBC and focusing on winning souls to Christ. He reported that many Southern Baptists were questioning the appearance of Vice President Mike Pence, a "zionised" Christian, at the convention.

Examining Israel's Pretext for War on Iran

Nothing unites Americans and Israelis like a good enemy to hate and wail about, and, to go to war against. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pulled out all the stops with his sophomoric slide show, "Iran Lied," designed to demonize Iran further by claiming Iran was pursuing nuclear weapon development, inspite of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) that limited Iran from developing nuclear weapons, since it was signed in 2015. Only problem is, it was all old news gong as far back as 2003. Israeli newspaper, Haaretz, challenged Netanyahu with an article, "After Netanyahu Speech, UN Reiterates Found No Traces of Iran Nukes." In this 25 minute podcast, Chuck Carlson and members of We Hold These Truths look into how Netanyahu's "discovery" could lead to war?  War has become the excuse most commonly used to cover up deficits and out-of-control spending. The Anti-Defamation League sets a low bar for hate speech. According to the ADL, one of the criteria for a person to be labeled an "Anti-Semite," is for a person to think "Jews stick together." In this thought provoking, 25 minute podcast, We Hold These Truths' Craig Hanson reports on his attendance at a local synagogue that hosted a speaker from the ADL, speaking on the subject of "Anti-Semitism." Making War On Syria

Why is another deadly gas attack on a rebel area near Damascus instantly blamed on the government of Syria by the US and her allies, without proof? This charge makes no sense as Syria and her allies are winning the war against ISIS and the other opposition jihadists. Is this another false flag operation like the two similar chemical weapons attacks in 2013 and 2017. More Christian theologians are waking up to the false promises of Christian Zionist theology. Dr. Rob Dalrymple, in his book, "These Brothers of Mine: A Theology of Land & Family & A Response to Christian Zionism," does an excellent job to biblically challenge the theology of Christian Zionism. Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies Vs The International Bankers Who Finance Wars

What's going on with the rise of interest in, and the increase in value of, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies? This recent, 26 minute documentary by PressTV does a great job of explaining what crptocureencies, like Bitcoin, are, and the push back by the banking estabishment against them. Voices in Palestine Crying Out for Peace & Justice: Qavi

Mohammad Abdul Qavi was an activist for peace and justice for Palestinians. We met Qavi at the El Beit Guest House in Beit Sahour, the city next to Bethlehem, Palestine, where a group of us on the month long, Iktashef experience, sponsored by the Holy Land Trust, were staying. Qavi, who was from London, had chosen the El Beit Guest House as his retirement home and had been living there for over 6 years. Exposing AIPAC & John Hagee's CUFI As Unregistered Agents For Israel

At Arizona Mosque Christ Follower Explains Christian Zionism

We Hold These Truths representatives have been invited to speak at numerous mosques about our Christian ministry that challenges Christian Zionism, a form of Neo-Christianity that is less than 150 years old. Christian Zionists hold fast to the belief that the modern state of Israel is a fulfillment of biblical prophecy. WHTT Asks Southern Baptist Convention Messengers To Choose Life Not War

Members of the vigil team from We Hold These Truths greeted messengers to the 2017 annual meeting of the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC), held in Phoenix, Arizona. The vigilers were armed only with signs like "Choose Life, Not War," "Blessed Are The Peacemakers," "Where Are The Peacemakers?" and "No More Wars For Israel," and two fliers: "Choose Life Not War" and "Does The Bible Require Followers of Jesus to Support the Jewish State of Israel?" After over 200 vigils around the country, in terms of people engaged and fliers distributed, this vigil turned out to be one of our most effective ones, since we started them in Nov. 2002 at the First Southern Baptist Church of Scottsdale [AZ]. Is the God of Today's Judaism the Same as the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob?

John Hagee Alledges A Copyright Claim On His Prayer For War-Update

In 2012, shortly after posting our video "John Hagee with Benny Hinn:  Praying For War In The Name of Jesus" (you can still watch the video on our site), John Hagee Ministries (JHM) forced YouTube (part of Google) to remove it, claiming they had the copyright on the prayer, offered by Hagee at the end of the program, This Is Your Day, hosted by Benny Hinn. that was used in our video.  How does a prayer offered to God in public, and aired on commercial TV, have a claim to a copyright? The copyright on the whole program actually belongs to Benny Hinn Ministries from the 2003 show where the Un-Christlike prayer was uttered.  We're grateful that we caused some feather ruffling in the radical Christian Zionist camp after getting over 25,000 views on YouTube in less than a month.   In this podcast we also talk about another potentially dangerous phenomena, coming in on the radar screen, known as Messianic Christianity, where God is being promoted as a racist.  The Messianic movement is converting Christians into followers of Judaism. Worldwide Reaction To Palestinian Hunger Strike

Israel's prime enabler, the United States government and its complicit, main stream media have virtually ignored the hunger strike being conducted by Palestinian prisoners. Many of these prisoners languish in Israeli prison under an Israeli policy known as administrative detention, where prisoners, who have not been charged with a crime, can be held for years. Elsewhere around the world. others have shown support for the Palestinian prisoners on a hunger strike.
