In this 15 minute program, we discuss former President Jimmy Carter's recent pronouncement, after another trip to the Holy Land, that there is almost zero chance of Israel granting a state to the Palestinians.  In fact, the Zionists never really intended for any Palestinians to be living in Israel. He even generated a counter protest, and, remarkably, one of the church pastors came out twice to dialogue with Craig to sincerely find out why Craig was there and what our mission is. Jewish Zionists Defame World Vision VP For Exposing Christian Zionist Warmaking

Steve Haas is the VP/Chief Catalyst for the billion dollar Christian aid agency, World Vision that has aided Christians in Israel and Palestine for over 30 years.  Haas was challenged by Zionists and Christian Zionists over what he said at an address  made at a theological seminary (an article about his speech can be found here, and the complete speech here, and two of the Zionist attacks here and here).  He said that many evangelicals, for more than 60 years, had "clung to a very narrow theological narrative that weds Christian theology with a political ideology known as Zionism..."and, many of our brother Christ followers have allowed themselves to be squeezed into the roll of advocacy for Israel, and for war itself, by Christian Zionist errant scriptural teaching."  In this podcast, we also talk about the Zionist attack to silence Anglican priest and Christian Zionist expert, Rev. War Is The Main Issue

John Hagee & Christian Zionists Are Deceiving Minorities about the Israel/Palestine Conflict

Christians United For Israel, headed by John Hagee, now has a Diversity Outreach Ministry Coordinator to reach out to black and Hispanic churches to drum up more support for Israel.  In this podcast we report on a We Hold These Truths' vigil held at a CUFI event conducted at a small black church near Phoenix, AZ.  Included in our report is a very interesting, short conversation with the pastor who revealed his Christian Zionist leanings.  For background on this vigil, listen to our podcast, "Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Decried the War in Vietnam, Christian Zionists Pray For War."  There were three of us conducting the vigil while there were less than 25 in attendance (our percentage of vigilers to the number of CUFI attendees increased dramatically over previous CUFI events where we conducted vigils).  Perhaps, blacks and Hispanics recognize that the Palestinians are the underdogs in the conflict, and, not the Israeli Jews.  We gave the pastor a copy of the inspiring documentary, "Al Helm: Martin Luther King in Palestine" and asked him to watch it.  Overcoming religious dogma about the modern state of Israel is a very difficult thing to do for the tens of millions of American Christians held in the grip of Christian Zionist ideology.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Decried the War in Vietnam, Christian Zionists Pray For War

In 1967 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. spoke out vehemently against the Vietnam war and said that the US government was "the greatest purveyor of violence in the world today." (And, we add, it still is, today!)  On the other hand, the self-anointed leader of Christian Zionism, John Hagee, has publicly prayed for war on Iraq and called for war against Iran.  In this podcast we talk about an upcoming vigil at a Christians United For Israel (CUFI) event being hosted at a predominantly black church with a black pastor.  The church's Facebook page had posted an event honoring Dr. King, who has been recognized and honored as a genuine peacemaker.  Why would they turn their backs to the legacy of Dr. King for a "Night To Honor Israel?"  That got us to thinking that the religious dogma of Christian Zionists must run deeper than Jesus' call to his followers:  "Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the sons of God."  Don't miss this unique podcast and our follow-up podcast after the vigil.

Countering the Proaganda War On Palestinians

   

Weekly, non-violent protests have been conducted in the Palestinian village of Bil'in since 2005.  The village is being threatened by encroaching, illegal, Israeli settlements.  These peaceful demonstrations have been met with extreme deadly force by the Israeli Defense Force.  The documentary, 5 Broken Cameras (nominated for an Academy Award For Best Documentary) documents the killing of Bassem Abu Rahma, one of the demonstrators in 2009.  The picture, at left, is from a April 18, 2015 demonstration where two persons were injured, and scores suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation after Israeli soldiers attacked the weekly nonviolent protest against the Wall and Settlements, in Bil’in village near Ramallah. The protest also marked the Palestinian Prisoners Day, and commemorated the death of Bassem Abu Rahma.  In this podcast, Craig Hanson talks about an encouraging event he attended featuring 5 Broken Cameras filmmaker's brother, Iyad Burnat, who was, also, shot by the IDF in a 2013 demonstration.   Craig's report is one small ray of hope to counter the constant propaganda barrage against Palestinians here in the US by our government, major media and the Israeli lobby.

Messianic Judaism: Jewish Led Movement Spreads Zionism

John Hagee's Christians United For Israel will take its "We Love Israel No Matter How Many Palestinians They Kill," traveling road show, "Standing With Israel" event to a synagogue in San Francisco.  Normally, CUFI events are held at Christian Zionist churches.  We discuss this event and the recent protest in the Bay Area where over 3000 longshoremen protested against an Israeli ship unloading its cargo in Oakland.  Shouldn't Christians have as much compassion for the over 500 Palestinian children killed in Gaza during Israel's "Operation Protective Edge," as longshoremen do?

About 460,000 people in Gaza have been displaced since the start of the conflict. Three civilians in Israel have been killed." Israel's March To Genocidal Ethnic Cleansing of Palestinians In Gaza

Zionist Attacks On Presbyterians

The Presbyterian Church, U.S.A.
